It’s Tuesday again! And you know what that means right? Well this edition of American Idol we’ll get the chance of listening to some very good songs. The American Idol Theme April 28 is RAT PACK SONGS!

Now, if you don’t know the Rat Pack, let me tell you that they were a group of artists including Frank Sinatra, Sammy Davis Jr. Dean Martin and Peter Lawford… ahhh… good times!

There are many great songs that can be performed by the American Idol Top 5, so I hope they try their best to choose a song that really makes them stand out. Although there are no Sinatra-like voices in this year’s American Idol, I’m sure everyone will put their own flavor.

David Hernandez Speaks About Adam Lambert

Today reading Buzz and News, I read about David Hernandez who spoke with a Villager voice journalist at a gay bar. He said that he knew Adam Lambert from before, as they both are gay. Not friends, but ‘from the scene’ according to his own words.

David thinks he was voted off for the reason of being gay, and thinks that Adam will be voted off soon too, because when the reporter said to him that Adam Lambert was still in the competition and hasn’t been voted off, David said “not yet”.

I find it hard that this could happen. Adam is THE favorite and he has given superb performances show after show.

American Idol 2009 April 15

On American Idol April 15 2009 we were expecting another elimination, but this wasn’t the case. According to the new rules, judges were allowed to save one participant, so Matt Giraud got lucky after his poor rendition “Have You Ever Loved a Woman”, the Song from “Don Juan de Marco”.

On tonight’s show April 15 2009 Jennifer Hudson and Miley Cyrus performed on the show. Both stars made popular on TV.

The bottom three included Giraud, Anoop Desai and Lil Rounds. Matt lost by the votes of the audience. Do you think it was a good idea that judges saved Matt? Those were the news on American Idol April 15 2009.

Scott MacIntyre Eliminated!

We're narrowing down the list of contestants, now we only have the top 7 left. This time it was time for Scott MacIntyre to leave the show on American Idol 07/08/2009. Bottom two were him and Anoop and Anoop won by 30,000 votes.

He did an amazing farewell performance, singing "the Search is Over" again. Wow, Many people woul've wished that he sang the sing this way yesterday. The judges notes that Scott's presentation was great and seemed to talk about saving him but in the end there wasn't a unanimous decision.

So, Scott MacIntyre was voted off. He was a great contestant and an example of passion in what he does!

American Idol Screw Up

Bad points for American Idol. The repsonsibles for the show yesterday on TiVo and other sources cut the final section of the show witout remorse, just when Adam Lambert was supposed to perform Mad World.

Many people are upset about this, especially fans of the contestant who waited a long week to hear him sing again. There are many opinions out there, some even are saying that the show should be aired again and no contestant should be eliminated because many will not be able to vote after this.

Do you think it's such a big deal? After all we can find Adam's perfromance all over the Net, but on ther hand we need to be fair.

Wow wo. Another day at American Idol and it seems the competition gets better and better. Everyone gave their best, but the closing act was the one that took away the words from simon Cowell.

Adam Lamber Mad World (check the video on the link) was great with a brilliant performance that could have been of a megastar. On American Idol April 7 2009 Lambert once again demonstrated he has what it takes to be the next American Idol.

Other performance that I really like on American Idol April 7 2009 was All She Wants to Do is Dance. Kris Allen showed his voice, but still it was not enough to beat Lambert.

American Idol Lady Gaga - yesterday's presentation by Lady Gaga on American Idol has become very popular. Many people were amazed by the talent of this woman who many seemd to look as another tiny pop star, but Lady Gaga now has two hits topping the Hot 100 chart of Billboard.

The performance of Lady Gaga on American Idol (check the video) started with a soft piano Intro to her song "Poker Face" and then it evolved into the song we have all heard on the radio with the pop-electornic sound and a nice choreography.

On American Idol, Lady Gaga is one of the few artists putting on a show just for one song, just this were the Grammys or the VMAs.

American Idol Theme 04/07/2009 - The theme for next's week American Idol has leaked and thanks to none other than American Idol judge Paula Abdul.

During an interview at KISS FM, Paula let the information go wild and said that the American Idol theme April 7 would be "songs from the year you were born". Now, this means for the Top 8 finalists, that the songs will be from the 80s and 90s.

That's pretty interesting, and a creative theme for the week. The American Idol top 8 will have to make an extra effort to choose the irght song, now that the competition is getting tighter.

American Idol March 31: Kris Allen

Today was the American Idol March 31 show, and Kris Allen may have had the best performance fof the the night on American Idol. Ain't no sunshine was the song he chose from Bill Withers and eh really stood up in the competition.

All judges praised his excellence and even Simon called his Kris' best performance so far. Personally this was my favorite performance of the night, starting out with a soft intro with just the voice and the vocals giving in toa great ending with violins.

I've tried to find some videos of tonight's performance by Kris, but they seem to be unavailable, will update wehn I find one.

American Idol March 31 Theme - Hiya, time for another American Idol show, and as always we are excited. this week's theme seems to be iTunes, and particicpants will be able to choose from iTunes top 100 downloads for the American Idol theme March 31.

The show airs tonight at 8pm, and we will be able to watch how the top 9 stand up this time.

Now, about the American Idol theme tonight, people are still a bit confused. at first people believed that songs were from the current top 100 downloads, but some insiders have another opinion nothing confirmed - saying that the top songs are since 2005 when Billboard started tracking the downloads.

American Idol March 26 2009 - Today, on American Idol, Michael Sarver was voted off, leaving only 9 participants in the show. This was his 2nd week being in the bottom two, and his rendition of “Ain’t Too Proud to Beg” didn’t cut it to let him be safe for one more week.

On American Idol March 26, more than 36 million people cast their vote and this marked a new record for one of America’s most watched shows.

Sarver was the only one who didn’t made it to Motown because of an illness, so he preferred to fully heal for the show, but he missed the Motown magic. Today he did a second version, but it seems it didn’t convince the judges. The bottom three were him, Matt Giraud and Scott McIntyre who got mixed reviews after singing “Can’t Hurry Love”.

While Sarver was voted off on American Idol march 26, he will still be included on American Idols Live, the summer tour that carries the top 10 finalists.

After lip-synch allegations, the show started with a Motown medley. Well, if you remember from reading this blog you know that a spokesman of the show admitted the use of lip-synch on group presentations.

American Idol Lip Synch - Last week, rumors about lip-synching in American idol 2009 came to surface. Now we have official word from a spokesman of the show and well, American Idol asmits lip-synch on group numbers. Let’s see what they had to say about this issue:

“Due to extensive choreography and to balance their voices with open mikes against a screaming audience, the Idols do sing along to their own prerecorded vocal track during the group performances only," a rep for the show told "The New York Times,"

Some journalists and people also said prior to this to have noticed some things strange when it came down to see the participants singing as a group. Take for example Diane Macedo form FOXNews:

"Last week I saw Megan Corkery stop singing for one part as she tried to find her place next to Matt Giraud by the piano," Macedo said. "Once she got her footing she jumped back in. If something like that happened while someone was doing a solo performance or a duet, and what you were hearing didn’t reflect that, you would instantly know that they were lip-synching. But in a case like this, when it’s a big group singing together, it’s far less obvious."

Allison Iraheta Papa was a Rolling Stone - Only 10 finalists are left on American Idol and they were guided by legend Smokey Robinson for their Motown night. One of the best performances was the Allison Iraheta “Papa was a Rolling Stone” a song made famous by he Temptations.

Allison, who is just 16 years old really impressed everybody and made us all forget her bad performance last week. The four judges were clearly impressed by her performance. Paula called it “awesome”, Kara “amazing”, Randy “blazing hot” and even Simon praised her saying that it was her “best performance so far”.

Adam Lambert Smokey Robinson – Tonight Adam Lambert had a change of image as he sang the song “Tracks of MY Tears” by Smokey Robinson. And Adam surpassed even the expectations of Smokey himself who said that he’s never heard of a singer interpreting the song so tender and soft.

Adam hit the stage looking a bit like Elvis with a lot of hair gel and the audience got really touched by his performance. This may have been the best performance of Adam so far.

The judges all seemed to agreed with each other, and even Simon the feared judge said that it was the best performance of the night. "You tonight really have emerged as a star."

Seeing this performance of Adam Lambert of a Smokey Robinson song I have to say he has all the material needed to win this competition and be the next American Idol.

Anoop Desai sings Oh Baby Baby - Anoop Desai hits the stage this week singing Oh Baby, Baby. Smokey agreed that he wouldn’t change anything about the arrangement, and Anoop loved the fact that he was able to sing the song to the songwriter.

Well what did the judges think of this? Kara though that it was a good job by Anoop, Pauls says she likes his new confidence and thinks that it was a pretty good performance. Simon agreed with the quality of vocals, but also warned Anoop not to be boring! Randy also thinks the kid needs more energy.

To tell you the truth my comments are the same as Randy. Come on Anoop! Give us more life!

Ruben Studdard on American Idol – Previous American Idol champion Ruben Studdard returns to the show that made him a star to perform his new single “Together” on Thursday.

This new song is part of his new work “Love Is” bound to be released on May 19. Ruben Studdard on American Idol is also an effort to repair a “big disconnect” with his fans says the singer.

"All of my fans aren't solely in the urban AC [adult contemporary] arena. People can be quick to put you in a box and then market you that way," Studdard said.

"The beauty of American Idol is everybody watches and votes for you - it has such a broad appeal. And that's what we wanted to do with this album: record an album of songs that people will remember and has broader appeal."

Simon Cowell and Obama – Simon Cowell doesn’t have time for president Obama. The American Idol judge told Jay Leno that president Obama wanted to meet him, but he wanted available at the time the president was free. Here’s what he said:

"He wanted to have dinner, and our diaries didn't quite match, he wanted to do eight [o'clock], I was free at nine. We didn't quite connect."

These remarks are done after four days Obama appeared also on Jay Leno saying that being the president was like being on American idol, always being judged by Simon Cowell.

I find it totally normal, who says that you should have time for the president? When Simon Cowell told this to Leno, the show host answered: "What were you doing, getting your teeth whitened?"

I think he was getting a tanning salon installed in his Beverly Hills mansion!

Simon Cowell Tanning Salon - Reports say that Simon Cowell, American Idol’s judge has installed a tanning salon and a facial tanner on his mansions in Beverly Hills. Of course, these are news that come from a tabloid, check out the original news:

The Mail on Sunday has seen exclusive plans for the acerbic X Factor judge’s new 11,550 sq ft mansion which is due for completion next week.

And they show a solarium off the master bedroom complete with one full-length tanning machine and a smaller ‘booster’ facial tanner.

Cowell, 49, who is worth a reported £130million, has called the house his ‘dream home’. He bought the property for £8.2million nearly two years ago but razed the original structure and has rebuilt a two-storey modern home to his specifications.

The mansion has 24ft tall windows in the living rooms with sweeping views over Los Angeles. Neighbours include Tom Cruise, Madonna, Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne and the Beckhams.

The news source also talks about a big number of improvements in the house aimed at perfecting the mind and body of the American Idol Star. I hop he doesn’t end up looking like an over-tanned guido!

Jennifer Hudson Will be back on the show that made her a start. That’s right, Jennifer Hudson is back on American Idol this week according to some reports. These reports also say that she will be performing after the results show.

That same day another American Idol star, Ruben will hit the stage. The broadcast will not be live, which has let me a bit confused. Is she worried about her performance? I don’t think so, Jennifer Hudson has an amazing voice.

On a side note, I’m also wanting to hear future comments about who do you think performed better on American Idol, Jennifer Hudson or Kelly Clarkson.

We will be seeing Jennifer a lot this week, besides Jennifer Hudson appearing on American Idol, she will also be a guest on the Ellen DeGeneres show on Thursday.
